For the 9th consecutive year U.S. Junior Tours will travel to unmatched destinations providing golfers ages 10-18 the opportunity to study the history of golf, meet committed golfers from around the world who share your passion for the game, receive top-notch instruction, and play some of the most famous golf courses in the world!

 

U.S. Junior Tours Golf Experience is a first class educational and athletic travel program for golfers, ages 10-18, and their families.

The Kohler Golf Experience

Whistling Straits and Black Wolf Run

Kohler, Wisconsin

July 7-13, 2012

 

Held on on the shores of Lake Michigan in Kohler, Wisconsin. Whistling Straits and Black Wolf Run are our hosts for an incredible seven-day program that includes daily instruction and practice at the Kohler Golf Academy, play on three championship golf courses, and the final day of competition of the 2012 U.S. Women's Open Championship held at Black Wolf Run.

 

This amazing program is available to golfers from all countries who will be entering school grades 6-12 (ages 10-18).

The Birthplace of Golf Program

St. Andrews, Scotland

July 25-August 3, 2012

 

Nine days at "The Birthplace of Golf", three days of golf on St. Andrews Links Trust Courses (Balgove, Strathtyrum, Eden, Jubilee, New)

 

Instruction and practice at the St. Andrews Links Trust Golf Academy and Practice Center

 

Open competitions in the Crail Golfing Society's Junior Open, Thornton Golf Club's Junior Open, Lundin Links Open, and the Ladybank Junior Open

 

Social time with our competitors, opportunity to ballot for The Old Course, incredible sightseeing, and much more!

 

Golfers from all countries ages 13-18 and ages 10-12 with participating adults are welcome and encouraged to apply.

A Note from the Director

Thank you for your interest in U.S. Junior Tours.  We are in our 9th year of providing one-of-a-kind educational and athletic experiences.

 

Professional instruction, focused practice, and spirited competition is what separates U.S. Junior Tours from any other program.

 

USJT has a long list of references available and we shall put your family in contact with past travelers and their families for a first-hand review of our program. Please contact my office to arrange.

Do you qualify? 

 

All of the following qualifications must describe YOU!  

Between the ages of 10 and 18

 

Are a good and upstanding person that cares about others, and constantly aware of setting a good example in all situations.

 

Have passion for the game of golf, have great desire to improve your knowledge and skill level.

 

Are ready to challenge both your mental and physical attributes.

 

Are eager to travel and experience other countries and cultures. 

 

Applications including handicap and references need to be submitted NOW! - there is no fee to apply, nor does it commit anyone to travel

 

St. Andrews Links Trust  Junior Boys and

Junior Ladies Open Competition

August 2-August 10, 2012

 

Available to young men under 18 as of January 1, 2012 and a USGA handicap not exceeding 4

 

Available to young women under 23 as of January 1, 2012 and a USGA handicap not exceeding 18

 

This is a highly competitive program against some of the best junior golfers in the world!

 

This program can be combined with the USJT "Birthplace of Golf Program" in preparation for competitive play.

English Language Immersion and Golf Experience

St. Andrews, Scotland

July 15-August 3, 2012

 

A unique program specifically designed for junior golfers from Europe, Asia, and Central and South America that speak English as a second language.

 

The program will feature a combination of focused English language instructional activities led by state certified American instructors along with a fabulous international golf experience.
