Spring in Ireland |

Golfers, non-golfers, families, friends,
clubs, and pubs will enjoy play on four exceptional Irish golf
courses, tour Dublin, County Wicklow, Waterford Crystal, the roads
of Kerry to Kilarney, Bantry and County Cork. Experience the quaint
villages, the music, the pubs, and the outstanding hospitality of
the Irish. Perfect for 1st time visitors to the Emerald Isle!
Program itinerary includes: Day 1 Departure - to Dublin, Ireland
Day 2 - Arrival in Dublin, a member of
USJT Golf Travel will meet you in the arrival area at Dublin Airport
and assist in transfer to Dublin City Centre for an orientation
tour. Earliest possible check-in will be arranged at the three-star
Grafton Capital Hotel, a bit of rest before evening excursion to
Taylor’s Three Rock, for a night of Irish music plus dinner.
Day 3 - The day begins with an Irish
breakfast and a journey to county Wicklow for golf at
Druids Glen,
site of 1996, 1997, 1998, and 1999 Irish Open, non-golfers continue
on to either
Powerscourt Estate, the stately home of the Dukes of Leinster, or
Glendalough, site of St. Kevin’s monastery. The
afternoon brings a journey to the famous
Waterford Crystal Factory
and overnight in Waterford at the four-star
Arlington Hotel, a
former bishop’s palace.
Day 4 - Following breakfast we head
westward from Waterford towards Cork with a morning stop at the site
of the former Jameson Distillery in
Midleton, and afternoon golf at
the panoramic
Kinsale Golf Club. Non-golfers visit the award-winning
Cobh Heritage Centre, overnight at the three-star
Trident Hotel in Kinsale, offering a wide choice of outstanding restaurants
Day 5 - Breakfast and a hearty trip
along the south coast, to places with evocative names such as
Clonakilty,
Rosscarbery, and
Skibbereen. On to Cork, “The Rebel
County”, reception and overnight lodging at the
Bantry Bay Hotel in Bantry, La Crosse, Wisconsin’s sister city.
Day 6 - A hearty Irish breakfast and a
drive through the magnificent scenery and twisting roads of Kerry
via Kenmare to Killarney for sightseeing, golfers play
Dooks Golf
Links, and overnight at the award winning Earls Court Guest House.
Day 7 - Off to the most western point
of Ireland along the beautiful Dingle Peninsula. Golfers play at one
of the great unsung golf courses,
Dingle Ceann Sib éal., the
westernmost golf course in Europe, overnight at the three-star
Dingle Benners Hotel with plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby.
Day 8 - Our final full day takes us
from Dingle via Tralee and Limerick to Bunratty to visit the
Bunratty Folk Park, scene of carefully re-created Irish life of
bygone years, overnight in one of our friendly bed & breakfasts in Bunratty.
Day 9 Return - Early breakfast and
check-in at Dublin Airport for return to the States.
